As he was traveling through the mountains, he stepped on offerings, and lost his way while cleaning his foot. He found himself at a strange altar, which is used by the superstitious villagers to make offerings to the hungry ghosts.
Later that night, Pey felt hungry, and committed the unmistakable taboo of eating the offerings in the forest. His senior warned him against it, and here comes the haunting.
Pey was tormented by ghosts, and his senior sent him to the cave for meditation. Unknown to the young lad, all the other monks were trying to save him by praying in a ritual. He was warned not to leave the cave, but of course, the young ones never listen.
The flashback revealed that Pey worked with his friend to rob travelers at night. He would ride on his friend's motorcycle, and throw rocks at the oncoming vehicles, causing accidents, then robbing their victims. On one unfortunate night, his victim was his father, who died. Due to Pey's bad karma and sins, he was cursed to become a hungry ghost in the end.
During the night, he was disturbed by the specter of the old man. After his request to change rooms was denied, he had no choice but to endure a night of torment. He turned hysterical after being attacked by the specter, and had to be sedated by the nurses. While being sedated, the specter of the old man climbed onto him and choked him.
The next morning, the old man was certified dead. As Dan was being wheeled out of his room, the cult was lined along the corridor, kneeling to their new master...
A young Japanese couple were lost, and hitched a hike from a truck-driver. During the road trip, there were a lot of banging sounds coming from the container. The Japanese couple were curious, and became wary when the truck-driver drove off course to a deserted place. The Japanese boy demanded to know where they were being taken to, but stood down when the truck driver pointed a gun into his face.
The truck driver and his companion (played by Charlie Trairat), got off the truck to inspect the container, which revealed a horrific sight - a truck of dead people. The truck driver was supposed to smuggle the people across the border, who apparently died of suffocation(?). Charlie cut open the gut of 1 corpse, revealing that he had undertaken a secret deal with drug traffickers. It now appears that the people died due to drug overdose when the condoms that they swallowed had ruptured.
Meanwhile, the young Japanese boy saw all the dead bodies, and picked up the gun that the driver had dropped. He had his back to the corpses, while trying to herd the driver and Charlie into the back of the truck. An infected living dead rose up and bit the Japanese guy, while the driver drove off, leaving Charlie and the Japanese girl chasing after him. They managed to get in the back of the truck just in the nick of time. Apparently the people who died became the infected
The infected caught up with the truck and overturned it. Later, when all was quiet, Charlie got out and found his friend dead. As the Japanese girl regained consciousness, she realised that there were still bodies at the back of the truck. A young boy awakened, not showing signs of being an infected. Charlie was shot dead while persuading the girl to kill the boy before he became infected.
In the end, after a long drive, the Japanese girl reached a small town. She turned and saw that the young boy had died, having the trademark white pupils of the infected. She picked up her gun... Two gunshots were heard. A lone figure stepped out of the car, and dashed towards the crowd, ready to pounce on an unfortunate victim.
Nuch is the owner of a used-car joint. While she was trying to broker a deal, an unhappy customer turned up. The customer accused her of lying about the car being accident-free, and blamed Nuch for nearly causing her son to die. Nicole was puzzled at how her customer found out that the car had been in an accident before. Nicole's business actually involves in overhauling wrecked cars.
That evening, Nuch's son went missing. She tried to look for her son in her compound, and was spooked by the ghosts of accident victims. She got locked in a car, and witnessed how some of the victims got burnt to death in the car during an accident. Eventually she managed to escape, and tried driving her own car away. She had difficulties starting her car, and the engine sounded weird. As she pulled away from the compound, her car's engine suddenly died. She stepped out, and found her son's shoe in front of the car.
She stepped forward, bracing herself for the worst, and opened the bonnet of the car. There, she found her little boy, incinerated by the engine of the car.
In The End is a hilarious segment which is filled with twists. It is about Marsha Wattanapanich (star of Thai horror movie, Alone), who plays herself in the sequel. Her fellow actress, Kate, plays the ghost (a Sadako look-alike). Halfway through the filming, Kate had to be sent to the hospital as she was sick. She was accompanied by a crew, Aey. At the hospital, the doctor tells Aey that Kate had passed away.
Meanwhile, Kate reappears at the studio, wanting to complete the shoot. The crewmen feels that something is amiss. When Kate asks Ter to accompany her to the toilet, he pushes the task to his colleague, Puak, who in turn pushes it to the unsuspecting Marsha.
Aey calls Ter and tells him about the unfortunate news. As Ter discusses this with Puak and Shin, he accidentally triggers walkie talkie, allowing their conversation to be heard by the entire crew. Ter believes that Kate had returned from the dead to complete what she wanted to do badly - which is to finish the film.
The rest of the crew flee after listening to their conversation. Ter, Puak, and Shin decides to help Kate fulfill her final wish, in fear of being haunted for live if they do not do so. After completing the final scene, the 3 guys take off, leaving Marsha with Kate.
While driving along the road, they encountered Aey. They picked him up and flee. Aey's head starts bleeding and he explains that he met with a car accident. Ter drives by the accident site, and after seeing how badly wrecked the car is, believes that Aey is dead. Ter and Puak flee the car, leaving an unknowing Shin with Aey at the backseat.
Ter and Puak tries to get Shin's attention, pointing to the crash site. Kate appears behind Ter and Puak, and it becomes a two-way shout fest, with both sides trying to warn each other that there is a ghost near them. Shin freaks out, thinking that Aey is a ghost. Aey explains that he crashed into a lamp post, and got out the vehicle before a truck smashed into his van, and that he is not dead.
Meanwhile, Kate explains to Ter and Puak that she escaped from the hospital. Kate's doctor had a twin, and when Aey approached Kate's doctor's twin, that doctor told Aey that his patient had died (not Kate). All the interesting twists and clarifications eventually showed that there weren't any ghosts to begin with. While they stood on the road, Marsha drove sleepily into them. In the end, they all died. Awesome twist.
